posibly further feature: saving team stats and auto load them on the next app run (coz now, we have to retype all stats each time when app is started).

BTW: great job. u made it in C#?

Been thinking about such stuff, and perhaps expand it a bit to allow for planning teams better than just inputting stats.. Don't remember how to save and import stuff atm, so I'd have to relearn it all again ;> But it's been thought of, we'll see if I get the time and will to do it :P

Slight update, added a swap button to make changing genin / jounin positions MUCH easier.

Also added a kinda critical update for the dev mode. When hiding the button by typing in dev again; if you didn't disable the checkbox it would stay enabled and would thus obliterate the simulator if you tried to do regular amounts of simulations, thinking it were disabled. - Fixed in v.1.2

aeonar, i dont know how much time do you have, but it just came up to me a great idea, about some new features to the simulator.

the main disadvantage of using it (and running simulations) is the burdensome typing whitch u just must-do. when u wanna check a lot of team setup it is gonna to be troublesome. so, u could code into the simulator all ninjas, their abilities, summons, LWs and items stats and make it selectable from the dropdown list. when users could just select their ninjas, with the exact gear it wil be a lot easier to check the raight setup.

i know its a lot of work to do, but it will be awesome :D

Been thinking about it, but it would be a really major update :P Would want to restructure the displays as well and probably remove all input boxes etc so that it's only the ninja selecting.. And of course saving and loading team setups..

Already made one like that for the prequel, so know the basic layout, and made the code so that it's kinda easy to modify for it. But it's of course a lot of work :P, plus that it's getting kinda big on the screen ;o

Special treat, v1.3!

Version 1.3 now introduces a save and import function! No more need to re-enter all the stats over and over again for tiny updates! Also added a reset button, but I doubt anyone will use that very often...

Thinking about how to do a ninja database... Could just do like the prequel where I had everything inside the simulator itself, but then it's impossible to update just a couple of ninjas without redoing the whole thing..

So it's either: Make all say, jounins in one file, all abilities in another and then scan for the correct abilities whenever adding them.

Or the one I'm leaning for the most: Having one file for each ninja with all their abilities in it and then one master file for in which order to open them in... The bonus is that you could then make your own ninjas and add them in easily :>

The bigger issue though is the combo's... I'd have to either add an extensive thing to check which ninjas it applies for and double check all the time if the ninjas are in the team. I would most likely kill someone before I get that done...

OR

Let the user add the combo's themselves in a separate list somehow.... Which all the noobs definitely couldn't handle...

I think this is a great idea. The noobs will just have to learn how to add combos. :P

trying to get at least some early alpha ready in the next ~2 weeks, so I can test the impossible run easier... :P

So far I'm able to import characters and abilities, scratching my head about how to make the ability selecting easy.... :> then I still need to multiply it 6 more times, and then reformat the entire display to make it look nice for once :P

It's getting big... perhaps even too big... <.< But, there's not really much to do about it, can only shave off a couple of pixels here and there... Wouldn't really change much..

If I remove some more or less useless numbers (but neat ones..) it would still be ~900 pixels high.

One option would be to put all the stats in a popup, but I really don't want to do that. I want to see all the numbers all the time. So it's pretty much stuck like it is
