Default Changes to immunity?

I haven't really had the time to read everything on the forums, but Minaro messaged me about the immunity suggestions and maybe it's finally time to do something about it.

If the formula (0.99^X = Y) Minaro sent me is correct, it should result in a curve like below where its simply not really worth getting more of it.

regular immunity -- new formula
10% = ~9.6%
25% = ~22.2%
33% = ~28.2%
40% = ~33.1%
70% = ~50.5%
100% = ~63.4%
200% = ~86.6%

Probably everyone agrees that we need som kind of "cap" or in this case where it simply loses its value the more you get.

Is above formula too harsh?

Please keep in mind that some items probably willhave to be buffed a bit if this is implemented. For example newly added LWs which had their immunity based on the rather harsh 1%=1.5 atk (custom lws too i guess).

Above formula is easy to implement, but a bit harder to present so that users understand in an easy way. Will probably have to add show both values in the ninja data screen.

Pretty good, immunity really needs a cap, but not such a hard one because it would really mess up immunity based campers. This formula would be about right.

I like that idea, udon. Its definitely not too harsh of you to do that. Immunity needs this. :\

EDIT: But yeah, a cap would be even better. :)

i think that scale seems fine but i don't think 1% immunity should be equivalent to 1.5 attack. that rating is unfairly biased against it. in my opinion, its closer to 1.2 or 1.3 tops. i guess 1.5 is for easier calculations. most of the time, immunity does not reduce that much damage. i guess if you are on extreme or impossible and fighting otherworld and above enemies it would be about that much but in most cases i think it isn't that much. also, pure attack is generally more useful on the world map compared to immunity.

Even 50% is bit too much when it comes to camping .. so some sort of cap would also be preferred

The idea sounds nice I guess, and immunity based FNJ and FNK can come out then, (and still be a bit OP), so I guess this "nerf" balances everything out. Its not such a big hit anyways, until the LW get boosted. But I'm hoping that you'll post the LW changes here as a discussion before you go ahead and place the new changes up, which is what you'll probably do right?

Hm but then what would you beat Atk + teams with now? Immunity still helped, but if LWs are taking even the slightest hit, they definitely own BA again.

Manda teams are more or less easily beatable using either SD, or EAdv teams, they always were.
